Clinic Visits

Conduct an initial site visit to assess current readiness and provide immediate feedback. Identify immediate needs and challenges.

Onsite and Offsite laboratory directing 

Laboratory Design Consultation:

  - Advise on the design and layout of the laboratory to ensure optimal workflow, space utilisation, and compliance with regulations.

  - Collaborate with architects and contractors to make sure designs meet industry standards.

Contractor and Vendor Liaison

Engage in discussions with contractors  

Provide advice on procurement of equipment, ensuring the selection of high-quality and compliant lab instruments.

Procurement Support

Recommend and assess vendors for laboratory equipment and materials.

Oversee and manage procurement processes, ensuring timely and compliant purchasing.

Development of Lab Manuals and SOPs

Create comprehensive lab manuals covering daily operational procedures.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key processes, ensuring documentation control and version management.

 Staff Recruitment and Interviews

  - Assist in screening and interviewing potential lab and clinical staff.

  - Evaluate candidates' competencies against clinic needs and regulatory requirements.

 24/7 Phone Support; Provide round-the-clock phone support for urgent issues, ensuring critical problems are addressed promptly.

 Inspection Preparation:

Help prepare the clinic for inspections, including mock audits and document reviews.

Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all standards are met.

Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Review

Analyse performance data to ensure key metrics are being met.

Provide recommendations for process improvements if KPIs are underachieving.

Laboratory Meetings; Participate in monthly lab meetings to assess ongoing operations and troubleshoot issues.

Regulatory and Quality Management Liaison

Work closely with the Quality Manager to address regulatory and Total Quality Management (TQM) concerns.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, including maintaining certification and accreditation.

Staff Competency Assessments

Evaluate and assess staff competencies regularly, ensuring they are up to date with industry best practices.

Identify areas for improvement and arrange training where necessary.

 Provide on-site training

Develop and implement CPD programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
